He holds a PhD from IRIDIA, Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he focused on the automatic design of hybrid stochastic local search algorithms for complex scheduling problems. His research led to the development of the EMILI framework, a flexible tool for automating algorithm design. Federico’s work bridges theoretical optimization and real-world applications, contributing to Solvice’s mission of delivering advanced, AI-powered planning tools.
